Reya’s POV The next day passed in quiet routine. I saw my patients, cleaned my instruments, and restocked the shelves at the infirmary. it was late when I finally made it back to my cabin. The air was cool, the kind of crisp night that carried the smell of pine and damp earth. I locked the door out of habit, set my satchel on the small table, and went straight for the bathroom.
