The tension between the two of them was palpable. I furrow my brow as I look carefully between Austin and the manager of the restaurant, Tony. “Uhm… Did I say something wrong?” I swallow hard and quickly try to recover. “I mean, my first job wasn’t working in a restaurant like this, but I did work at a McDonald’s.
