I pulled the hem of my black dress; cursing Sierra for the millionth time. Why in the world did I have to give into her and wear, this sequined number that reached only halfway down my thighs. What was more, this stupid dress was backless. Scrutinising gazes bore into me, making my bare back bristle with goosebumps. If I could, I would have dug a deep pit and buried myself.
