Dahlia pinched my cheeks and titled my head, forcing me to drink the stringent liquid. It felt cool in my mouth but as it flowed down my throat, it scalded me from the inside. The sensation was followed by a sudden splitting headache. My knees buckled and I dropped to the ground; holding my head with both my hands. “Please… I… I can’t breathe.” I rasped in a muffled voice before breaking into a bout of dry cough.
