My fingers clasped around the cold handle of the mug, and I took a long swig. The icy liquid trickled down my throat, leaving behind a burning after feeling. Running the tip of my fingers over the rim of the cup, I mumbled, “How I wish I could get drunk as easily as before?” My voice slurred a bit as I continued. “Then, I could forget everything easily.” My magical powers made it a bit difficult to get truly drunk.
