CHAPTER 55 Groaning, I picked up the book lying on my chest and kicked off the comforter. A contented smile spread on my lips as my gaze landed on the couch. With a bit of persuasion, Tristan had agreed to sleep on the couch instead of on the floor. Supporting my head with my elbows, I watched him for a few minutes. He looked so peaceful while sleeping. Leaning closer, I was going to kiss him when my gaze landed on his chest. A startled gasp left my lips, and I staggered back.
