FOUR YEARS LATER
On a day like today, all Alexander really wanted to do is lock himself up in his room and mope around until the day ends. He would keep to himself, heeding none of his friends’ attempts at trying to make him go out and spend the rest of the day with them. Honestly, that’s probably what he would have done today as well if this was ten years ago. However, things have changed since then.
Oh, how things have really changed.
A week after Aurora took her last breath, Alexander really didn’t have the heart to face her or her family because he failed to be there during that last moment. Of course, his parents and Aurora’s parents kept telling him it’s fine and that they understood, but he still didn’t have it in him to accept their words--at least not that easily.
