  "Uhm, Hailey?" Duncan called, but I didn't say anything. "Hailey, is that you?"   I wanted to ask him so many things. First about what I heard the lady say the other time I called him, and second, who the lady that picked his call is, and why she is with him in his house or wherever they might be.   But I chose to not do further with my questions because I felt there are more important things to talk about than scattering the discussion with what I was going to ask.
