"Hey, are you okay?" Shelby sat next to Janice in the laundry room.

"Truthfully, no, I'm about to lose my mind." She picked the basket filled with plate then returned to the kitchen.

"Okay, wanna talk?"

"Yes... No, I.. I just want to sleep."

"Okay, that's fine too." She touched her hair, "when did you last wash your hair?"

"Yeah.... That was what I wanted to wash."

"In the laundry room?"

She shrugged, "I'll just do it when I wake up."

"Maybe I can help."

"Maybe you can't, it's thanks to you that I'm losing it, it's thanks to you, that's she's keeping secrets, I look at her and I know, I know I definitely failed."

"You could stop it by telling me." she place her hand on the cooker then hiss in pain.

"Are you out of your mind?" Shelby turned on the tap then help her to it.

She pushed her away then pick the knife, "I need to know, it's the only way I'll be at peace and you know that."

"Yes, I think you should be told but it can't come from me."

"Well, Candice won't talk. Who will?"

"Victory.'

"No, not him."

"Then you can cut yourself." she walked away leaving Janice alone.

"What happened to your hand?"

"I got burned." she shrugged him away, "Will?"

"Over here." he closed his file then turned to her, "how did it go?"

"She asked me to ask Candice or Victory."

"Not even when you threatened with a knife?"

"Nit even when I burned myself."

"You burn yourself, this is getting out of hand." Ryan protested.

"How about you mind your business."

"Janice I..."

"Should take care of your family and let me handle mine."

"Okay, calm down guys, chill, Kyle please take Ryan out."

"Got it but I'm also against any thing harmful, Candice will gut us if she finds out."

"Only Candice?" Shelby spoke from behind.

"Shelby!" Will stood and looked at her.

Everyone paused as they thought of what next to do.

"It's exactly what I think, wanna know what that is... Janice could no longer stay being blinded, so she came to Will l to help her extract information from me, although I wonder why he didn't dissuade her, he's not that stupid or he might be, he should know that's impossible." she went to the bar and took her seat, "or maybe, there was something he wanted to know, so if Janice had succeeded, he would try her method and get whatever info he want out of me."

"What?" Janice turned to Will.

"You didn't think he was helping out of his own free will, do you?"

"How about you tell her what she wants to know, no one deserves to be kept on the dark concerning their love ones."

"Are you talking about Janice or yourself?"

He shrugged.

"Am I one of you love ones?" she persisted.

She heaved " Fine."

"Of course not, but Candice is quite vulnerable right now, she might look strong but she's quite tender beneath and she needs her sister next to her, so go home and let her know you are ready."

"She won't tell me."

"Normally, but like I said, she's quite vulnerable right now."

"I'll take you home." Kyle grabbed his keys.

"Not you..." she looked at Ryan.

Janice looked at the exchange, "I'll grab a cab."

Shelby threw her her car keys, "go down, I'll join you in a bit."

She nodded then left them.

She looked at Ryan, "she'll come around when she knows the full truth until then, remind her of your present."

He nodded then returned to his room.

Shelby went to Will, "why did you do that?"

"I just want Candice out of our life's, it's that simple."

"Our lives, there's lots of our recently."

"I... You know what I meant."

"May be, maybe not, but I'll advise you to thread carefully." she headed for the door then paused "and there's nothing that you needed to know that I've ever kept from you, so let's be careful."

"Are... Are you crying?" Janice squat next to her sister.

Shelby sat across them before she poured them a glass each.

"I've told you all. Not in detail but all."

"Now tell me the details, no matter how gruesome it is, then I'll see to it that you get justice even if I have to go to victory for it."

She heaved then stretch out her legs, "how foolish of me, he was so excited to see me, he carried me then hugged me." she scoffed, "the bastard was so glad, I said we needed to talk so we went to his room away from his friends and when I told him, he laughed, he stood there and laughed at me till one of his friends came in and spoke to his ears ,he looked at me then kissed my forehead and told me to give him a minute..." she looked at Janice, "I did think it was a good reaction but then the bastard went out with his friends and they placed a bet on who can make me screamed the loudest."

"What?"

"He's such a bastard."

"Yeah, they all were, they paid him to take turns on me and they did and they laughed while they did, they were all so happy, while I laid there in tears... begging, they were all happy."

Shelby hugged her and Candice also engulfed her in her arms, they sat there, and listen as Candice tell on gruesome story after another.
