"Yeah yeah yeah!!!" Shelby stood suddenly the collapses back into the sofa, "hug huh, I guess, Kyle will be the one to assist Will then, "sorry Kyle."

"Nevermind." he shook his head, "I'm glad to help."

"Why not ask Will to bring the kids over, that way I won't have to drive over tomorrow."

"Actually I think he's on his way."

"What?" the ladies exclaimed.

"Yeah, I called him to let him know you are safe but the fool didn't let me finish, he simply said he's on his way."

"When did you call him?" Candice asked.

"While you ladies were talking."

The ladies shared a look then Candice's called him, he picked at the first ring.

"How's she?"

"Hello, would be the proper thing to say but then if you had proper manners you wouldn't have fitted in with the guys."

He heaved.

"She's fine, nothing's wrong, she only passed out."

"Passed...Did you summon the doctor?"

"What? of course not, she just fainted, it probably from exhaustion, she ran 21 flight to my place, so you should calm down."

"Shelby doesn't just passed out, she isn't feeble like you."

"What,I..."

"Nevermind I'll bring her to the hospital myself."

"Wait is that a horn I hear."

"Yes."

"Where are you?"

"15 minutes away from you."

"15... Where the hell are my kids."

"In the car, already call Ryan and Janice, they are on their way."

"What, you decide to cut their date short?"

"Yeah, they need to watch over their kids, not have fun or would you have preferred I to leave them in the house all alone."

"Of course not..."

"Good, then see you soon." Will hung up to concentrate more on his driving.

"What happened?" Shelby asked.

"I don't like your boyfriend."

"He's not..."

'Well I do not like your f**k buddy."

"Why?" she chuckled "what did he do?"

"He was super rude, In full panic mode, on his way here with the kids, he asked me to call an ambulance and have you taken to the hospital."

"Huh?"

"That isn't all, he called Janice and Ryan home, then proceeded to tell me they do not need to be out having fun but rather to be watching over their kids."

"What?" Kyle scoffed "he couldn't have said that?"

"He did." Candice shook her head, "Kyle please get her a juice and make sure she drinks it, I need to get the kid's bed ready." she scoffed "how on earth is he so close already?"

"Sorry, I'll help." Shelby tried to stand but Candice's pushed her back, "No, sit and rejuvenate, you will need all the energy you've got when that guy of yours arrive which Is in less than ten."

"Good, I can still help."

"Sorry, I don't want your man accusing me of wearing you out."

"He won't." she stood.

"He will." she pushed her back, "you should have heard him, he made me feel like I didn't value you enough."

"Yeah, it's just his feeling, when a man sees his woman in danger, all sense of reason tends to fly out." Kyle said.

"Is that Will speaking or you?" Candice replied.

"Just speaking generally, but that doesn't mean it doesn't apply to us, it does with everybody."

Candice rolled her eyes then turned towards the door as it's knob twisted and Janice and Ryan walked in.

"What happened?" Janice walked towards Shelby to examine her, "Will said you had a heart attack and passed out, he told us to call an ambulance immediately."

Candice rolled her eyes and said hi to Ryan.

The men shared a look then laughed.

Shelby exclaimed then sat up, "I only passed out for awhile due to stress."

"Really, is that all?" She sat next to her, "he sounded really worried?" she looked at Ryan who shrugged.

"I told you he could be exhagerating, he tends to do that towards his love ones." he winked at Shelby.

"I'll tell him your mouth needs some cleaning, I'm certain we have some bleach for that."

Ryan swallow audibly, while the rest laughed at his reaction.

"How could you save passed out?" Janice squeeze her hand.

"Why won't she?" Candice took the juice away as she was going up to care for the children room, "she ran the 20 flight up."

"What?" Janice and Ryan exclaimed.

"Yeah, apparently the lift wouldn't come soon enough so she took the stairs up."

"I'll never do that." Ryan shook his head then sat adjacent her.

"I used to run more than that before but recently I've gained more weight, I think that's why I passed out, I really need to lose some."

"What, are you out of your mind, Why the hell did you do that, what was so urgent that you couldn't wait?" Janice hitted her.

"Sorry... But..."

"Sorry."

"And who was the i***t who told you you've gained weight, you looked more paled you asked me."

"Well, I'm not asking you. And..." Shelby scoffed, "you need not to mind me, I'm quite fine."

Janice sat next to her, "have you eaten?"

"Of course, Will fed me..."

"He fed you what?" she looked at him.

"Actually, I haven't eaten, I haven't been able to for awhile now, infact I've been skipping breakfast and I did skip lunch too..." then she looked at the guys "and thanks to some i***t and their sudden plans, my dinner plans got called short."

"Let me get you some soup." Janice went to the kitchen and hit her some,

Shelby turned to Ryan, "so tell me, how was your date?"

He grinned, "it could be better."

"Blame your friend for that, I still don't know what he's thinking?"

"I do."Kyle replied

"As much as I'll love to help your love life, it's a dangerous game, not one I'll like to dabble in."

"So you won't even try to convince her?" Kyle made a cute face.

"No, I won't because I like Janice, Candice got burned badly and at a very young age, if only I could guarantee forever then I will."

"So you don't believe my love is true?" he rested against the chair.

"I do but there's a limit to what the truth can do."

"Here you go." Janice put the soup In front of her, "do you want some bread?"

"Sure?" Shelby nodded as a wave nausea overcame her, she stood suddenly and headed for the toilet, where she emptied her emptied stomach.

Will's call came through at that moment and the guys went down to help him with the kids, Janice screamed for Candice who came running.

"What is it?"

"Stay with Shelby, she might have caught the flu, I'll go down and help them with the kids."

Candice nodded then went to the bathroom and check on Shelby, "are you okay?"

"Yeah." she made her way to the chair the return to the bathroom again when she returns she covered her nose, "I think the soup is triggering it."

Candice took the soup to the kitchen immediately then return with some citrus fruits and kept it on the table, she handed her a bottle of cola, "here, you might need it."

Will walked in with Jasmine in his arm, he handed the child to Candice "they are all asleep." then went to Shelby, "come-on let's go, I'll take you to the hospital."

Candice took the kids upstairs, thankful that were in their pyjamas.

"There's no need." Shelby looked at Will, "sit, you are straining my eyes."

Janice came in with theme carrying the remaining children, they walked past them to the stairs into the kids room.

Kyle returned and took the seat adjacent them, "I thought you will be gone by now?"

"Shut up, we are on our way, I just need..."

"Will!" she pulled him closer, "he is teasing you."

Will threw kyle a glance.

"So are we going to the hospital?" Ryan teased him.

"No we are not." Shelby looked at him, "thanks for the mockery."

"Can't be that easy, the woman had got a mind of her own, not his usual bimbo." Kyle teased.

"Sorry Shelby." Ryan took his seat "it's just that Will is acting strange."

"Just last Christmas, he deny being in relationship with you."

"He even did last month, although he did say something will change." Ryan said.

"Yeah, is this the change you were waiting for?"

"Yeah could you save been biting the love mosquito."

"Shut up, idiot." he turned to Shelby, "I didn't, I only said we weren't dating."

"Same thing to me." Ryan shrugged

"He wasn't lying."

"Then?"

"I think the word you are looking for is f**k buddies."

"Now I know where the influence is coming from." Janice joined them.

Shelby grinned sheepishly.

"Well, miss f**k buddies, you are going to follow your f**k buddy to the hospital, you are as white as ghost and I doubt you have any nutrients in it, I can't believe i'm saying this to a nurse."

Shelby raised the cola, "I..."

"Don't tell me that....I think it's a sign of flu and that is dangerous, especially if you are going to be next to the kids, I don't need to remind you guys of what actually happened the last time they fell sick together, do I?"

Shelby had the gut to look shameful.

"I'll go first thing tomorrow."

"Now, we will go right now." Will interjected.

"It's late."

"The hospital is always opened."

"I'm quite tired."

"You don't have to lift a finger, I can always carry you."

"Now you are suspicious, if I didn't know better, I'll think about are excited to see me sick."

"Now don't be silly, if anything, you are the suspicious one."

"What could have made you ran 21flight of stairs?"

"The elevator wasn't working."

"Liar, it worked fine yesterday and now."

"Well, it was important enough, so tell why you are adamant about getting me to the clinic?"

"I really don't like the idea of getting on the bad side of anyone here, just imagine those poor kids down with flu, I bet Candice will demand my head first."

"And I agree." Candice joined the gang, "the last time they fell sick" she grinned as she stared at everyone, "I'm certain we all had so much fun, didn't we?"

"I'll drive."Ryan shuddered then picked the car key.

"You guys must have lost it, I'm going no where." Shelby stood suddenly but went down druggily

Will lifted her immediately while Candice opened the door, Ryan ran ahead and started the car then they all headed to the hospital
