I contemplated what Sophia was saying. How I wished it wasn't true.
My heart broke at the idea that he was marrying another. I had to admit that, even though he wasn't my mate… He didn't have to pick me as his Luna.
I wanted more than anything to remain by his side. Even if I was nothing but a breeder, it was enough.
