24 They dished up spaghetti then sat at the far end of the dining table. In between bites, Ross glanced over at his “office.” As soon as Byrd was back in custody, he would find a business space to rent. Though he paid Shelly to help him on some cases, he figured Waldman Investigations was successful enough to expand. A receptionist? A part-time P.I.? He looked at Audrey. She was right. Having a line between “work” and “personal life” meant he could free himself up to be with her.
