18 Mac drove his Camaro to the front of Ross’s house. The patrol outside the senior Dr. Ellis’s home reported no activity besides three older men who showed up with beer and cigars for poker night. The officer knew this because they came to his car and invited him to join them. Nothing on the BOLO. Geoff Klein had no information on where to find his missing parolee, even when he checked with Byrd’s cellmate via the warden. He grabbed the groceries and headed for the front door.
