Beep! Beep! Beep!

I woke up to the sound of the irritating alarm buzzing off, and I knew very well that I hadn't set it, I never do, I never have, and I never would.

Right, it must have been my good for nothing brother. He wants to meet his forefathers so badly. I tried reaching for it but failed miserably, so I had one option left, waking up. I frowned.

Annoyed I strode to the bathroom piqued as hell did my morning routine as slow as a tortoise, my mood was just, so down. And Felix wasn't improving things by aggravating me. After I was done, a certain idea popped into my head.

I walked to his room with a gigantic grin on my face. I put the alarm near his ears, then it started ringing. He woke up instantly, of course, more vexed than I was, I had this smirk that I was sure he wanted to punch me, just that he couldn't.

“TSK TSK, do you want to die? Why would you set an alarm for me?” I said, more like bawled at him.

He scratched the back of his head,

“I just wanted you to get early for work. But this is the thanks I get, well then thank you and Good morning to you too.”

“And you thought setting an alarm for me would work? And again, what's good about this morning” I snapped at him.

“First impressions…okay I'm not sure about what they say about them but If you must know it worked and guess what your first day working that's what good about this morning,” he said grinning.

As if I could forget about work, never in my life had I worked before even after graduating I ever preferred going to school to working.

But with my dad's health deteriorating, I had to swallow my pride and everything and just work.

We were going bankrupt, so he decided to give me a job at his business associate's company. He was already in a position, so I had to stand in for him.

“Look, you better go. I checked your boss out and turns out he's a no-nonsense guy, very punctual fires anyone late for just five minutes, no one looks directly into his eyes' oh I could go on and never finish let's get going”

“You sure did a background check on him good job,” I said stuffing a banana into my mouth

“Maybe you should start eating normal food since you're working now, you're going to need the energy” I fake smiled and went to the seat, although I don't understand why since this was my car but anyway.

“Look I know this is hard on you but remember it is only temporary, okay, I love you,” he said driving to the company

“Hey it's going to be cool call me if anything happens, I love you”.

I nodded and headed toward the doors, I was familiar with this place I had been here a few times, but it felt so surreal knowing that I'd come here to work.

I headed towards the lift and went to my office. With a funny feeling.

I guess I had a lot on my plate, so I couldn't concentrate on where I was going, but I hit my head hard on a wall that appeared out of nowhere.

“Aww!” I felt the gravity pulling me to the floor, I closed my eyes while my face welcomed the floor, then suddenly I felt hands encircling my waist.

Wait! Floors don't have hands right, I moved my body a little, and that's when I realized that I had been caught by someone. Phew!

I turned my head, which resulted in me hitting the generous person who saved me with my hair.

I was about to apologize but halted when my eyes met the most beautiful sea green eyes I'd ever seen, though I felt drawn to these eyes like I'd seen them before. They still were the most beautiful.

My mouth was agape, as I admired his handsomeness. Damn! His face. He was noble, even with a stern face. Strikingly handsome is the perfect word to describe him.

I've never gawked at a man before, in fact, men didn't exist in my world until this one showed up.

I've seen guys like this in movies, mostly Korean movies, and I thought that's where they existed, in movies not here. I was wrong.

I've met dozens of the wealthiest men from wealthy families, but they were nothing compared to the hunk in front of me. Good really took his time creating this Adam. Talk about perfection.

Finally, he released from his embrace, though I was partly sad. He had a cold aura that was like a magnet, attracting my attention.

“Watch where you're going” He walked past me.

No, he pushed me and since I didn't expect he'd do that, I landed on the floor. What a nice way to start your first day.

“Hey!” I called out to him, but the jerk kept walking.

"Cocksucker!” I shouted. He stopped walking, turned his head, and gave me a fierce glare. Holy crap. His eyes. He looked like he could strangle me any minute now. I stood up and walked away from him.

Acrimonious, that's how I felt. Why can't Dad leave me alone, always pokes his nose where it doesn't belong?

He always demands and never elucidates anything to me. I was supposed to be in rapture right now, but with around, I always had to be exasperated.

Out of nowhere, a woman appeared and fell right into my arms. Just when she fell into my arms, my mood lightened up. I even smiled, she felt at home already.

If I could only see her face. After a short while, she turned her face to me. My jaw dropped when I saw the most breathtakingly beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on.

The funny part was she was a brunette. I've never been attracted to brunettes before, well, there was one, but she is in my past. I swore to never fall for brunettes ever, after her.

Her eyes. The ocean blue eyes. They were my little angel's eyes. Like a few years ago. These eyes carried pain, loneliness, hatred, and fury.

But she wasn't my angel. And I couldn't expose myself to this again. The moment I smile at her, I won't be able to turn back.

I have to avert this. Though it was a bit formidable, I had to do it.

“Watch where you're going,” I said and pushed her away

For her to hate me, I have mistreated her.

“Hey.” I heard her shouting and I just ignored her.

“Cocksucker!” she roared.

My eyes widened at what she said, I stopped in my tracks, turned my head, and gave her one of my cold glares, and she just walked away unaffected.

Who was she? And what was she doing here?
