Lanie I slowed my car down as the houses became larger and farther apart. “This neighborhood is super nice,” I quietly said into the phone. “Where did you expect him to live?” Erica responded. I shrugged, though she couldn’t see me. On her end, Matt’s muffled voice said something. “What are you guys doing?” I asked. “His friend has some house party tonight, so we might swing by that.
