The Deal

It all started on a rainy day. It was Saturday morning, all the plans Catherine had were canceled. Catherine Kennedy was an adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alwell. She was a Nurse at St. Michelles hospital.

She's hard-working and the favorite child of Mr. and Mrs. Alwell. Of course, she had other siblings who were older than her,

She was 20 years old, Natalie was 25 and Nathan was 26.

Natalie and Nathan were the biological children of Mr.and Mrs. Alwell. They were the black sheep of the family. They had no jobs, no money, did drugs, Natalie had too many abortions and finally decided to keep one child that she cares less for. Nathan, on the other hand, was into gang fights. When they were in need of money, they would bully Catherine and forcefully take her money. Her parents would only beg her to forgive her siblings because they had no say or control over them. Sometimes they would ruin her work clothes.

Mrs. Alwell was a teacher and Mr. Alwell a dentist. They were altogether successful, including Catherine, while Nathan and Natalie were the opposite. And newsflash, they're Twins.

Now, this Saturday has begun with bad weather. Rain has fallen all day. And the Twins were nowhere to be found.

The house was peaceful for only a few minutes. Before Nathan and Natalie burst into the house, their parents were shocked. " Where have you been all day?" asked their mother. "Hide us please, they're coming, " screamed Nathan, " it's your fault, " Natalie responded. " I told you not to steal from them, I told you " Natalie said again. Catherine responded by saying," Who did you steal from? We haven't paid half of the debt you owe, and you're stealing again?

Are you two never tired or ashamed of the trouble you get into and Natalie, you have a daughter? What example are you showing? " Natalie responded by saying," Oh, shut up, you little do-gooder. Catherine was hurt by her words, then Nathan responded by saying," She thinks she's tough because she's a Nurse. " Mr Alwell was already raging in anger, " Shut up both of you!!! " what will you do with them" asked Catherine . You don't want to know," responded Lorenzo. " Please don't let them take us cried Natalie, I promise I'll be a good mom, I'll be better. Nathan begged too, Mrs Alwell was revived, but she and her husband were crying, Catherine looked at Natalie's baby and was moved to ask " Can I take their place" Lorenzo paused and asked"what did you say? " Catherine " I asked if I can take their place, for her baby's sake, and for my parents' sake,"

Both parents were crying and begging Catherine to reconsider, but she refused because Lorenzo already liked that plan.

Catherine was in tears and didn't speak. So Lorenzo brought out a paper and gave it to her parents to sign. It was a marriage certificate, and it was another form to show that payment for the debt of Nathan and Natalie had been paid.
