I woke up to the ringing sound. I sat up on the bed startled for a second, before I realised it was my phone. My shoulders slumped as I closed my eyes and exhaled slowly. Who is calling me at this ungodly hour? When my nerves calmed down, I grabbed the phone which was lying on my night stand to see Kate calling. A small smile appeared on my lips. She said something and squealed, I didn't hear her properly. What happened to my hearing? Am I becoming human?
"What?" I asked.
