Aiden's POV I don't know how I reached the Red River Pack. The sun was already up and shining. I had dragged my body most of the way when I couldn't run. I rested a few times in the middle to drink water and hunted a rabbit on the way. It was not enough for my draining body. I needed energy to fight. But I couldn't waste anymore time on hunting. That rabbit was there for me as a savior. My legs gave up and I almost slid over a twig at a place near the border. My mind was in haze, my eyes were blurry but I could fight the drowsiness along the way. I carefully took steps huffing and panting heavily. My energy had drained off completely.
