I lie in bed staring at the ceiling. There was slight pain in my chest, I ignored it. He avoided me all the while to be with Amelia. The same Amelia, who he was about to mark and mate. The thought was unsettling, but I don't have any right in his decision. He was an Alpha, he can mark and mate anybody. He could spend his time with anybody, he pleases.
