CHAPTER 12

Lucifer POV

The morning when I went to her room she was sleeping like a baby, she was looking so adorable. Slowly I was caressing her cheeks, my thumb automatically went to her bottom lip. Her lips were so small and smooth. I want to taste her, suddenly she opened her eyes. For a moment she was shocked and later she came to her senses. Then I left the room because if I stay there one more second I can't control myself and I'll kill her, I don't want to scare her. So I went down and was waiting for her. I was reading a newspaper and she came to the dining room and stood at the entrance. I gestured for her to sit beside me. Damn, she was looking beautiful in a sundress. I should tell the stylist to fill her wardrobe with sundresses. I saw her curious face and told her to have breakfast and I'll answer all her questions. After breakfast I took her to the garden, I know she is a nature lover. Automatically she had a smile on her face. I always want her to smile like this and I'll do anything to keep her happy. I know what I did to her was wrong, so I apologized to her heartfully. But she doesn't understand my feelings for her. Yes, I like Sarah, but I can't express my feelings. Because whenever I offer her something she never accepted my offers. So I thought if we spend time together she will understand my feelings and accept me wholeheartedly. But this girl is asking me to break our marriage and let her go, seriously if any other person was standing in front of me I would have killed them. She is mine I'll never let her go away from me. If she tries to escape from me I'll chain her to my bed. I was so mad at her if stay there one more second I don't know what I'll do. So I went back to my study leaving her in the garden.

Afternoon when I went to her room she was not there, I was scared did she try to run away. Then I asked a maid who was passing by "where is Sarah?". She told me Sarah was in the library, I went to the library she was reading a marketing book, I went and sat beside her. She was so focused on reading that she didn't realize I was sitting beside her. I just want to burn this library, I was so jealous of these books that these books get more attention than me. Then I coughed to get her attention. She raised her eyes from the book saw my eyes for a second and she was looking back into the book. Seriously she didn't even give me attention for a minute. I know she is angry with me, but how can she ignore me like this. It's lunchtime so I asked her ''will you have your lunch in the dining room or should I ask maids to bring it here". She didn't even raise her head and she told me "I'm not hungry, I'll eat afterward". But I'm hungry can you eat with me.

Sarah POV

After what Lucifer said I was shocked and what the f**k is wrong with him. I was so angry with him he just left me and went somewhere. Whenever I'm angry I prefer to read books. So I asked a maid did they have a library in this place. She took me to the library. Wow, there was all kind of books. While coming to the library I thought to read a novel, but after seeing the book collection I changed my mind and started to read a marketing book. This book was so good and I was completely engrossed in reading the book. Then I heard someone coughing so I raised my eyes and saw Lucifer looking at me. I was so angry with him so once again I started to read the book and I didn't give him attention. When he asked me where I'll have my lunch I told him I was not hungry. When he asked to have lunch with him I lifted my head to tell him I won't eat with him. But he was looking so cute, he made a puppy eye face. I was unable to deny him. So I asked him "Why do you want to have lunch with me?". He smiled and said, "How can I have my lunch when my wife is lying that she is not hungry".
