CHAPTER 16

Sarah POV

It's been one week. All these days Lucifer use to spend his time with me. Until and unless he has an important video call he never left me alone. Even while going to the study room, he was a maid to be with me to look over me. The daily night we are sleeping together, he never allows me to sleep in a separate room. I have insomnia, so I use to take tablets while sleeping, but because I can fall asleep easily. As he already knows about my problem I have tablets in the medical kit. I took those pills secretly. I asked a maid to bring coffee and fruit juice, Lucifer drinks coffee evening time. I mixed the tablets in his coffee before he entered the room. Lucifer entered the room and took his coffee cup and he started to sip his coffee and talk about his business. Ya daily evening he use to tell me about his company projects and other resources. For a moment I felt so bad to trick him, then I remember I can't stay here. It's not good for both of us. As soon as he fell unconscious, I took his phone and called Neha and I told her that I have been kidnapped and sent her my location. I told her not to contact my parents or cops. I told her to contact Leo and told her not to call or text this number, and deleted the chat. And I placed the phone in Lucifer's pocket.

Lucifer POV

I fell asleep while talking with Sarah. When I opened my eyes Sarah was looking at me, her green eyes were looking kind of guilty, As soon as she saw I woke up her expression changed to concern. She asked "Is everything okay, you won't sleep during the daytime. Are you alright?" I was on cloud nine knowing that she was concerned about my health. For the last one week I was spending time with her, she use to look tough. But in reality, she was so sweet, I felt like she needed someone so that she can share her problems and a person who takes care of her. The daily night she use to sleep in my arms like a small baby. I love it when she inhales my scent she automatically becomes comfortable like she is safe in my arms. I needed her to understand my feelings and love me back. I told her maybe I must be tired so I slept here. We had our dinner and we were about to sleep. Then I got a call from Chetan. Usually, he never calls me he only texts me. So understood it must be an urgent matter. When I was leaving the bed Sarah was looking at me worriedly. I patted her head and told her to sleep. But she woke up with me and went to take a pill to sleep. As I saw this I kept my phone on the bedside table and took her into my arms. How can I let her take the tablets? So I hugged her and slept with her. Until midnight she never left me. As she was fast asleep, I went to my study and called Chetan. "Hello Lucifer Neha came to know about your location, know they are coming to the island. So go away from that place". As I heard this I was shocked and asked him "How did they know about our location". He was silent for a moment and told me that Neha got a text from my phone this evening. Now I understood everything, Sarah tricked me so she was behaving weirdly from the evening. "How many members are coming?" I still don't know, but it's not safe for you to stay there so go away from here before morning. I have already arranged the chopper and our guards will take care of them. I cut the call and went to our bedroom. Sarah saw me sleeping peacefully so I didn't wake her up and carried her to the chopper and left the place. "Know you are in trouble Sarah. I'll make sure that you will never think of running away from me".
