CHAPTER 5

Lucifer POV

When I went to HC company, I saw Sarah was working happily. I thought she would be sad and won't attend to office. But she was so dedicated to her work. After seeing her happy face I smiled and then I suddenly saw the same guy from yesterday who came near Sarah holding a few files. Then I asked the senior manager about him. He told me his name is Leo and he is an intern here. The whole day I saw Sarah and Leo together. Leo was flirting with her but Sarah was too innocent, she didn't even understand that he was flirting with her. When Sarah was smiling she was looking so cute. I always wanted to see her like this. But I was jealous that she was smiling at another guy, not for me. Evening while going back home, I saw they both were talking and laughing. I was so angry and then suddenly Sarah saw me and then Leo saw me. Leo was walking in my direction, then suddenly Sarah dragged him from there. I don't know why I'm behaving like a teenager who is too protective towards his girlfriend. I thought to neglect these feelings and I left from there.

After 15 days.

It's been 15 days. I didn't go to HC company, but Sarah never left my mind. Every day morning after waking up I use to think about her and while going to bed I use to think about her. Today I have a meeting in HC company. Finally, I will be seeing her today, I was so happy. As soon as I entered the company, I saw Leo was holding Sarah by her waist. My blood was boiling, I wanted to rip his hands. Wait why am I behaving like this. Do I have feelings for her? If I confess my feelings will she accept me?

Sarah's POV

Today we have a meeting with Lucifer. I was walking to the meeting room when I tripped and was about to fall then Leo stopped me from falling. He was holding my waist, then suddenly I saw Lucifer was staring at us and he was blank for some time. Later we completed our meeting. Then Lucifer announced he is satisfied with our work and he want to treat us to dinner. Everyone was so excited, but I was not in a mood to go. But Leo forced me to attend the dinner. At the hotel, Lucifer was sitting at the center of the table and I was sinning at a corner, and Leo was sitting beside me. Within these 15 days, Leo became so close to me. I was so comfortable around him. Everyone was busy chitchatting and eating, I don't know why but I'm feeling something bad is going to happen. Then I told everyone that I have some work so I have to go. When I came out of the private room I bumped into Lucifer. Lucifer went out when he got a call. Lucifer asked me "WHY ARE YOU LEAVING SO EARLY?" I told him I have some work. Then he told me he will walk me to the parking lot. I told him today I didn't bring my car. So he told me he will drop me off. I was so shocked to listen to him. I just smiled and thanked him. And I told him I have already called my driver to bring the car no need to drop me off. So he told me he will give company till the driver comes. Then we walked outside the hotel. And I saw my diver, and when I was leaving he asked me "Ms. SARAH ARE INTERESTED TO JOIN IN MY COMPANY? I LIKE THE WAY YOU ARE DEDICATED TO YOUR WORK. I will PAY DOUBLE THAN YOUR COMPANY." I politely rejected his offer. Because if I accept his offer I have to go to New York. At present, I want to stay in India. As the time comes I have to go back to New York, so now I don't want to leave India. Then I went home.

Lucifer POV

I saw Sarah alone. So I approached her. She was so silent, I offered her a ride but she told that her driver is on the way. Then I asked her to join my company. She rejected my offer. And left from there. I was so angry everyone dies to work in my company, but this girl dares to reject my offer. Know I was smoking in a corner to control my anger, then I saw Leo come out holding some files. Then I saw Sarah come back and collected those files. And when Sarah was about to leave, Leo pulled Sarah and kissed her cheeks. Sarah was shocked and was blushing. What the f**k. How dare he kiss her, and why is She blushing? I called Chetan and told him to arrange my private jet so that I would leave for New York tomorrow morning.
