My heart might have exploded. I wasn't able to explain what it felt like.
Darren's plan was simple. He wanted all of us to hurt Richard with our powers. And we did. I tried my level best to hold his dagger. Caitlin gave him an electric shock while Evelyn brightened his vision. Lionel was in front of him, ready to beat the s**t out of him.
But something else happened before all of this. Something that we hadn't imagined. Cathia and Darren disappeared.
We all had just started using our powers against Richard when this happened, leaving us baffled. I looked around hurriedly, searching for them when suddenly, Richard growled and pushed everyone away. I looked at him, letting my darkness rage out. I must have gone mad, but Darren's sudden reappearance made me take a step back.
