When the sun dipped low in the sky, indicating the start of twilight as it showed the last of its rays, there were pictures in the twilight. They were of fire, water, witches, men, and wolves.
Children and women moved hurriedly making preparations for the celebration that was to be carried out. It was a night of the full moon and a festival was to be held in honour of the moon goddess _ Elune.
Men danced under the moon seemingly drunk around a bonfire that was made. When women joined them, they suddenly became one with wolves as they shifted into them. As they howled together at the moon, the bonfire increased, burning in an unnatural blue flame and the shifters took off into the woods seeming stronger and fiercer under the light of the moon. It was a night of mating, a time at which they are strongest, and also most vulnerable.

She stood naked at midnight, in the middle of an enchanted circle she had drawn with holy salt. Her beautiful blonde hair that was almost reaching her knee the only thing that covered her nakedness as it had never been cut. With herbs placed at different points in the circle at the edges of the triangles she had drawn in the it making a star shape under the moon, she was almost done preparing to seal her fate.
Though she was very strong, she knew she was strongest at the night of the full moon as the spells cast at midnight under the full moon were far more potent.
Her kind had almost gone extinct and she needed to preserve him as it was his destiny to help them co-exist peacefully but it was one he would fulfill in many years to come. Placing her hand on her bump, caressing it as though she was giving her unborn child all her love, she smiled as a tear dropped from her eye.
As she began muttering some inaudible words, power whipped through her like the wind that suddenly rose to send her hair flying and her eyes glowed a fiery red. Water rose from the ground around the circle she stood in but couldn't mix with the barrier of salt. She became a body of fire and began to cast a spell that sealed his fate and hers too...
