THE HEALER NEEDS HEALING

I spent my days by her side and Lumiere kept on asking me how is she and gave him updates of her condition. Good thing that Rafa is no longer in high fever but she still unconscious. I observed her glorious appearance her cute and straight nose, thick lashes, pink and cupid bow lips, small face and her unique hair. No wonder healers wear their veil with them because of their exceptional beauty. They don't want to draw attention to them. Our palace nurse tried to feed her but she is not receiving it. Even her medicine, it never goes down her throat. "Leave it there", I commanded her and she bowed and left the room.

"Rafa, you have to eat and take your medicine. You have to get well, Rafa. It may not be for me, but for those who need your healing hands." A slight move of her eyes and hands gave me hope but disappoints me when she went back to a vegetable state. Maybe the bites infected her. I touched her neck and my tears started falling on my cheeks." Forgive me of my rudeness Rafa but this is the only way." I drunk her medicine and fed her through my mouth. There's no response from her yet. "If you will not wake up, Rafa. I will continue to do it, you will never know how many times I kissed you without you knowing it."

Four days passed and still she's unconscious, Lumiere kept on pestering me and wanted to come but due to royal duties, It's hard for him to escape.

While I feed her with porridge, most of the food put to waste and the medicine, I still feed her through my mouth. I even personally prepared her food and medicine and I slept beside her to check on her. Morning came, I stretched my hand and stood up to check on Rafa. She disappeared in the bed and I checked the loo she's not their, so I went outside and I saw her on the floor like a cripple.

"Rafa, what are you doing her. Here, let me help you." but she didn't speak to me and never accepted my hand. So, I shoved her and bring her back to the bed.

As I put her down, our eyes met. I lowered myself to kiss her but stopped when our lips slightly touch. She didn't say anything and I turned away. She said something under her breath. "Thank you".

I replied dryly, "You're welcome." What's wrong with me. I acted as if I don't care about her. I left her in the room and prepared her food and medicine. She adjusted her position to sit properly and I assisted. I noticed that there was something wrong in her legs so I asked her.

" What happened to you, Rafa?, I asked her while anticipating that she would tell me the whole truth.

" I cannot walk", she said while tears started to form in her eyes. "I crawled from here to there, I tried to walk but I failed." My heart started to ache while listening to her. She's so helpless and I wanted to touch her but I am afraid that she will hate me for good. So, I asked her another question.

"What happened back there?"she looked at me with a puffy eyes.

" He said my existence was a mistake. Then he started biting me and sucking my blood. He almost.. almost" she's started trembling and I touched her shoulder to help her relax.

"Almost killed me. I tried to escape but he caught me by my neck and my dress were torn from fighting so I finally gave up let him do what he wants." I gritted my teeth and clenced my fists. What he did to Rafa is brutal. After she speaks, I hugged her tightly and savor our closeness right now. Before I could speak something to comfort her, my head buzzed because of Lumiere's message (He said," I am coming"). Maybe, I should take off this mind communicator because our mission is finished anyways.

Lumiere came and brought flowers and food with him. This woman is annoying. She looked so happy to see Lumiere and even paid so much attention to him when he sit beside her. I can't stand them so I left them both in the room. But I can't seem to calm down. Rafa might fall in love with Lumiere. Lumiere is my strongest rival in looks, brilliance and swords but in terms of being romantic and expressive, Lumiere had all of it. So, I waited until Lumiere left her room.

"Daven, did you waited her since this morning?" he smiled as he knew already that I waited that long."You're persistent, Daven. Good luck." He tapped my shoulder and gave me a sarcastic cheer.

My blood boiled and I wanted to throw flames and burn down anything in my way. I entered her room and she looked dazzling with her thin robe. She covered herself with blanket. When she reached for the glass of water, the blanket slid and exposes her breast in her thin robe that I could clearly see her n*****s on display. Rage and jealousy blinded me, knowing that she's like this when Lumiere was here. I went beside her and flap her lashes and put down her glass in the table beside her. I locked the door with my power and looked furious at her. "Daven, what's wrong?"
