Liz POV I stood paralyzed as the ground itself seemed to shake with the wild roar of a furious beast. Had I made this guy that mad? Didn't he say he likes a fight? I shrank back against the tree and gulped, unsure of whether or not to call on Sheba. We'd have to kill this guy. Sure, he was a jerk, but I've never killed anyone before, and I don't want to start now. Another deafening roar sounded right over my head this time, and I realized then that neither of those roars had come from this man. He was looking over my head with narrowed eyes and claws bared.
