Mari's hand was shaking, but she looked resolved. I watched in disbelief as she didn't give Thor a chance to retaliate. She threw another blast of energy at him, knocking him further into the tree trunk. He wiggled a bit to try and get out, but he was wedged in pretty effectively. The witch pursed her lips and marched right up to him fearlessly.
"I can't believe I ever loved a monster like you. I can't believe I hoped for you to love me back. You're a ruthless maniac. You're worse than your father! He sacrificed everything to try and bring his mate back from the dead. You left yours tied to a chair for a decade and did nothing. I hate you!" She spat at him. I looked at Ash in surprise.
