Ash POV
I lay in my wolf form with my head propped on my paws. Stillness was my way of coping with nerves. Brandon was pacing again, even as Desmonte. Teddy had summoned Cesar, who is drawing something in the dirt with his long claw. I’ve never seen Cesar before. He’s as big as Desmonte and just as intimidating, but he doesn’t look as…handsome? Is that the word I’m looking for? If a rock monster could look handsome, Desmonte is at least pleasant on the eyes. Cesar looks like a stony toad. He has weird ridges along his back and a more river rock coloring. Desmonte looks like a piece of cement. At least he looks smooth and solid. I’m just not sure how I feel about Teddy as a whole. His beast makes me even more wary of him. I know I’m not one to talk, but that guy is a freak of nature.
