Ash POV What just happened? Like seriously. Nobody was moving even though Josh had just jumped up and fled. Teddy looked up at us and raised his eyebrows. “Isn’t someone going to go retrieve the baggage?” He asked. What exactly did this kid do to the werewolf?! That’s what I want to know. I moved first and jogged toward the body laying halfway in the house and halfway on the covered back porch. He had moved fast, almost making it out of the house. He was definitely not a weak underfed werewolf like he was pretending to be. Not with that speed. He was out cold, though, and I leaned down to check his pulse, worried for a second that Teddy had long-distance killed the guy. Now that would be a truly frightening kid if he could do that. Josh still had a pulse, but it was surprisingly weak.
