The feelings were dim, but I could still sense when Liz experienced what I could only guessed was extremely heightened emotion. She was in trouble. She had been captured. By whom, well, I had a guess, but I couldn’t be sure. The closer we were getting to Canada the stronger I felt her presence. She’s been weakened, I can tell that much. Perhaps by silver. At least that was what Brandon thought based on something some bats came to tell him.
