Charlie’s POV
I woke up upset this morning. Again. The twins have been avoiding me since when I got upset about the whole Elders, Victoria and my mates saga. In my defence, I didn’t realise quickly things would escalate in less than 24 hours.
Megan and I were sitting on the front porch, drinking lemonade when she suddenly said, “I’m not supposed to be saying this but I see how much it’s been eating you up”, she moved closer to me, looked back and forth before clearing her throat. “Long before you, the Alpha’s had a history with a few she wolves. In the pack.” She paused when she noticed the uncomfortable look on my face. “Well, one she wolf stood out from the rest. No man, wolf or human, could resist her charm.”
“And I’m guessing that she wolf is none other than Victoria”
