The Football Game

We made it the game about 30 minute’s before it starts so i could go see Levi, he told me to call him when i got here but he didn’t answer so me and the girls are going to the locker room thankful its a home game. When we make it to the door of the locker room I see Levi standing their looking at his phone, i get closer and clear my throat he looks up seeing me standing their smiling at him, You made it i was getting worried you might have backed out,”he says” I look at him and say what kinda girlfriend would i be if i didn’t show up to cheer for you, that has him smiling..Levi steps closer wrapping his arms around me..I really like hearing you call yourself my girlfriend,”he says”

It feels really nice having his arms wrapped around me i feel safe wanted even.While i did call you but you didn’t answer so i came to look for you before you go out on the field.

Yeah sorry about that it can get kinda crazy in the locker room,i heard the other teams quarterback got hurt at last weeks game so it might be an easy win tonight,”he says”

While then i guess you don’t need that good luck kiss then i turn in his arms,

Oh you think you funny “he says laughing”

if i had it my way you would sit on the bench so i could have a kiss before each play, “Levi said” and i couldn’t help but pull him in for a slow deep kiss. We both step back for some air

I look up at him, there how was that for good luck,

You just gave me the boost i needed pretty girl, i couldn’t help but blush, i give him one more quick kiss before moving back out of his arms.

Look for me in the stands I’ll be cheering you on, come on girls let’s go get our seats and garb some snacks.

Me Layla and Emma go to the concession stand to grab a couple thing’s then go get our seats. Of course the cheer squad is right in front of us, just as we sit Britany looks right at me giving me a dirty look, i just roll my eyes at her not wanting to feed into the normal jealous girl drama.

Layla must have seen the look Britany was giving me,

What is her problem “Layla Ask” while im pretty sure she knows i had my date with Levi yesterday and now were here at the football game, she must have put 2 and 2 together and realized Levi must have asked me to come,”i tell her and Emma.

Now i understand why her face looks so sour”Emma says” we all burst out laughing at that.

Everyone starts to stand up clapping as our team comes running out onto the field. I can see Levi in the front leading the team, i see him looking in the stands till he spots me and throws a wink my way while i clap for him. We sit back in our seats as the game begins.

Me and the girls don’t really know a lot about football but it’s almost halftime are team is kicking ass Levi is doing great.We watch as Levi scores a touchdown and its now halftime.The team’s clear off the field as it is now time for the cheer squad to put on their show,

Hey im gonna go use the restroom do either of you have to go, “I ask Layla and Emma” they both say they don’t have to.I go and walk down the stairs going to the girl’s bathroom , i feel my phone go off with a text message. It’s from my mom letting me know she doesn’t know anything about any flowers and if she was dating I would be the first person to know about it.Another texts comes threw but it’s not from my mom it’s from Levi asking where i went,

Me-hey I’m on my way to the bathroom while it’s halftime, also my mom just texted me she doesn’t know anything about the rose’s. You’re doing great out there.

Levi-I wanted to see you for a second, wait at the bathroom I’ll be right there.

Me-I’ll be here..

Waiting outside of the bathroom for Levi to walk up, i see Britany walking told’s me “oh great here we go”

Since when do you come to the football games?don’t tell me Levi stood you up yesterday and now your stalking him at the football game,”Britany say’s”

Yup. Your just to smart Britany nothing get’s passed you, “i say trying to hold in my laugh” If that’s all Britany you can move on now.

I knew Levi was gonna see what a nerd you are he needs someone like me.”she says”

Britany you do realize you have been in the same school as Levi for almost four years and he doesn’t so much as sit at a lunch table with you , let alone has he asked you or anyone else out, i think your just mad because Levi asked me out and all that time you’ve spent on your back with his teammates doesn’t make him want you at all”i say”

I can see her face turning red and i already have a feeling what her next month is gonna be “and boy was i right as i see her hand in the air coming tolds my face”boy did she pick the wrong person to try to bully , i wait as i watch her hand come down and catch her wrist tight in my hand and twist, she ends up on her knee’s looking up at me while im smiling, Now i think you got confused here , so let me break it down for you, Levi asked me out Levi asked me to be his girlfriend and come to his game today,Nowhere in any of that did he says for you to act like a crazy stalker over him, “i say while looking down at where”

Out of nowhere, i hear clapping and turn to my left and see Levi standing there watching me.

I kinda froze right there not knowing what to do i let go of her hand.Of course Britany takes off.

I turn fully to see Levi with a smirk on his face, i go to explain myself when he shakes his head,don't worry i was watching the whole time”Levi say’s

I'm sorry if i put you in the middle she just won't back off, I've seen more of britany in the last week then I have in the whole time we have been in school together "I tell Levi as he walks closer to me"

I can't really tell by his face how he's feeling right now , which is making me some what worried .

britany seems to really believe that I'm the reason you and her aren't together.. I'm sorry for causing a scene at your game.i turn to walk away when he grabs my arm and pulls me to him kissing me with so much passion,

You did nothing wrong from where I was standing it looks like she came at your first and she not only tried to insult you but physically hurt you to, I should be the one saying sorry, I have never given any girl let alone one at are school any false hope .
