The Next Day

The next day at school started off normal, I decide at lunch to ask the girls if they wanted to shopping tomorrow after school so I cold get something to wear for Friday. Of course Emma and Layla loved the idea of going shopping.Me and the girls were eating outside under the tree on the grass like normal when Levi and his two best friends Alex and Luca came and asked if they could sit with us, it was weird usually the guys sit in the lunch room they even have their own table nobody takes it or even sits down till Levi sits like he’s the king of the school. Levi sat down next me smiling at me.. every time i see him smile at me with those cute dimples my heart flutters.

For some reason my normally out going s**t talking friends were now acting very shy which is not normal behavior for them i swear i even seen Emma blushing as Levi’s friend Alex was saying something to her . I coudn’t help but laugh watching my friends act like giggling school girls. Levi then seen what i was laughing at ,Seems your friends and mine are getting along so far i as worried about that . He said’ I looked at him confused .. I know how important your friends are to you the same as Alex and Luca are to me . I smiled back at him.

Was everything alright last night , i heard a man yelling in the background i hope i did not get you in any trouble, i said to Levi

Yeah sorry about that my dad was just angry about something do not worry , you didn’t do anything to get me in trouble.. Good i was worried you were gonna have to cancel.

Do you wanna pick the movie to go see and I’ll pick the place to eat? Levi asks me.. I’m fine with anything except scary or horror also im not a picky eater either. I smile a him, while good he tells me ill take care of everything just be ready at 7 he says before standing up with Alex and Luca and they head back inside the school.

I turn to Emma and Layla and they both have these goofy faces on them , so is their a reason you two were blushing and giggling trying my hardest not to laugh at them. Emma goes Alex is so cute i cant believe they came and sat out here with us. Layla trying to play cool like she wasn’t affected sad yeah it was fine.. i couldn’t help but to burst out laughing at them both. Sure whatever you say girls .. ready to head back in and get this day finished, i cant wait to go shopping tomorrow.

The day went by faster than normal which was good thing, ever since lunch it felt like people were either talking about me or looking at me. I felt like an animal on show at a zoo or something. I kept wondering if maybe i had something on my face , till I was sitting in math class and one of the Cheeleaders next me asked if Levi I were dating, that she had seen him sitting with me outside which i found weird seeing as she’s never talked to before now. NO Levi isn’t my boyfriend but we do have a date Friday i told her .I didn’t see the point of lying everyone knows in high school you really cant keep anything quiet she didn’t really seem to like the idea as the look on her face told me so. Why is that a problem i asked her.. no i just thought he didn’t date or at least not girls from our school and if he did i just figured it one be one of the cheerleaders thats all.. no offense she says

After math class i ment with Layla and Emma at my locker and of course they had already noticed the looks i was getting. Layla turns to me what’s up with everybody today she says .. while according to Britany Levi doesn’t date or at least not girls from our school and if he did Levi should be dating someone from the Cheer squad,i told them. Emma looks at me .. she really said that to you, YUP i answer..while if this is any clue to how people will act then you need to be ready because if the date goes while on Friday or people see you together out of school it may make the whispers and rumors worse Emma warns me. I finally put my stuff in my locker as we walk together out of the school I’ve never been so happy for a school day to be over with.

i said goodbye to the girls and started the short walk home to my house. As I’m walking i had my ear pods in but i felt like someone was watching me i could feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up , i didn’t know if i should stop turn around and look or just make a run for it. I took out one of my ear pods so i could hear better but not make it look like i noticed anything. From the corner of my eye i could see a man across the street walking he didn’t look like anyone i knew i just kept walking i was only one block from the house before i decide to just make a run for it. Thankful my mom forgot to lock the door so i was able to run right in and lock it. I went to the window to see if anyone was behind me but i didn’t see anyone or even the guy i had seen walking across the street from me “weird” maybe with all the staring today at school has just made me think i was being followed.

As i was trying to catch my breathe my phone when off, i almost jumped out of my skin.. pulling my phone from my pocket i look to see it Levi..

Levi- hey Sam just wanted to make sure you got home okay Emma had told Alex that you walk home. So i wanted to check and make sure you got home safe.

Sammie-yeah sorry im kinda out of breathe i usually walk home no problem but i swear i felt like I was being followed today. I know it was probably noting or could just be my nerves after lunch today it seemed like people were either looking or whispering about me.

Levi-Are you sure nobody was following you i can be over in a few minutes to make sure everything is safe im still at the school for football practice.

Sammie-thats sweet but I’m sure it was probably nothing.Thank you tho for offering go ahead and get back to practice.

Levi-Okay but im gonna be calling you later just to check on you and make sure you lock your doors please.

After hanging up with Levi i went to the kitchen to get something to eat before i start my homework. I still couldn’t shake the feeling that i as being watched or even followed. I wish my mom was home so I wouldn’t be alone, but i understand she has to support us. Thats why i was so focused on school,so i could get a great job and take care of her for once.. maybe then she wouldn’t have to work all the time with the day I’ve had its time for some junk food and some Vampire Diaries.Hopefully mom will be home soon.
