The Date

After leaving the restaurant we drove to a drive in movie theater, besides the hostess everything so far tonight has been great. On the way to the movies Levi reached over to hold my hand , he looked at me asking if that was okay, I thought it was sweet that he was asking me.

As we pull in to the drive-in Levi finds us a space to park. I was ready to go get some snacks before the movie starts when Levi turns around and starts pulling stuff from the back seat. As soon as i look I notice he’s got all my favorite snacks down to my favorite drink.

I look at Levi, how did you know this is all my favorite things,

I pay attention when were having lunch together,”He says”

While i think it’s sweet of you, i honestly did not even know this drive-in was here.”I say”

Me Alex and Luca like to come here sometimes to get away from the stress of school sports and parents.”He Says”

I could understand wanting to have a place to escape.

My mom works so much I’m usually by myself most of the time, but i do know she loves me she just has to work a lot to support us,”I tell him”

While it sounds like you have a mother that cares about you. Theirs nothing wrong with that.”He Says”

Right now he just looking at me and for the first time i feel like i’m being seen.

Thank you for tonight Levi, im really enjoying myself.”I tell him”

The movie starts and Levi is still holding my hand. Everything has been perfect he’s been perfect. Who knew one look could lead to such an amazing night.

Here come with me i wanna show you something Levi says getting out of the car.

He comes around to open my door to help me out.

So me and the guys found this area that makes you feel so close to the sky you kinda feel free, if that makes any sense’”He says Laughing”

We go to the back of the car and he pops the truck and grabs a blanket out of it, come on this way,Levi says

We go around to the back of the screen where i see what looks like a latter to go up to the top.”Come On He Says”

Okay here goes nothing, good thing im not scared of heights,

We make it to the top and it’s like a flat roof top, Levi spreads out the blanket.

Come on lay down theirs supposed to be a meter shower in a few minutes it is the main reason i asked you out for today and brought you to this theater,”He Says”

As we both lay down on the blanket to look up at the sky, i feel happy calm almost like im at peace.

I can feel his hand next to mine on the blanket, the heat coming off of his body, it’s making my heart race but in a good way.

I am really happy you asked me out Levi, i turn to him and say.

Me too Sammie, i hope after today theirs gonna more dates from now on, I really like you Sam, i wanna get to know you even more and spend more time with you if that is okay.

As he’s talking to me i can’t help but get lost in his blue eyes, he truly is handsome.

I really like you to Levi and i would absolutely would love to go out again and get to know each other better, but i do have a question seeing as this is my first date, are we dating or are we boyfriend girlfriend?

While i was gonna wait till the end of the night to ask you but..would you be my girlfriend Sammie? He Says

I feel frozen and if it wasn’t for his hand holding mine i might have thought i was dreaming.

Of course i would love to be your girlfriend Levi, i say smiling at him, i can only imagine how red my face probably is.

As we are looking at each other he starts to move closer and without even knowing it I move in, as his lips touch mine i feel the butterflies in my body. His hand is warm on my face the kiss is slow and sweet a perfect first kiss.

He pulls back looking at me, i cant tell you how long i have been wanting to do that.”He Says”

All i could do was smile at him.

I have to say if i ever did picture my first kiss it would have been just like that.

The movie is ending, not that we really watched it. Levi helps me too stand up and folds the blanket up we had down the latter back to the car, again he opens the car door for me.

As we drive back home i think about how nice it is to have someone else care about me, and wanna spend time with me i feel less lonely.

Levi holds my hand the whole way home almost as if hes not holding my hand im gonna disappear on him.

We pull up to my house and it’s all dark. We get out the car and Levi insist on walking me to the door and making sure i get in safe.

As i open the door Levi ask me if it’s okay to check out the house just to make sure it’s safe to leave. I thought it was sweet after checking all the rooms i think he feels better leaving me.

I walk him to the front door, Levi turns around i had a great time with you Sammie,I’ll text you when i get home make sure you lock the door after i pull off,

“He Says” before he walks out the door he turns around kisses me again and that same feeling wraps around me, i hope this feeing never leaves.

Goodbye Levi, thanks again for tonight.I watch as he gets in his car and shut the door locking it behind me i have the biggest smile on my face.
