A New Identity

The two ladies Maria had requested for helped her into the new dress attire that she had chosen and even helped did her make up just the way she wanted them to.

Standing in front of the big mirror, she admires her new look like a just crowned Princess, the red slighted off-shoulder dress fits her slender body so perfectly as it glues on her and the red lipstick makes her giggle at her reflection. It was just the perfect look for her new identity.

Lucky Stan walk in and smile seeing the new ravishing look, he was putting on an Italian suit that sharpens his look and he went over to her.

“You look extremely beautiful tonight” he said and brought out a box from his pocket.

He picked out two rings from it and ask for her hand, Maria gave it to him and gazed as he slipped a ring on her finger.

“I thought it would be nice to wear now”

Maria smile at him to agree and turn around for a last look to see how perfect she had looked for the night occasion.

She, Maria Leaner, had just gotten married to Lucky Stan, the Alpha and from now on, has become the Luna.

The big door pushed open and they both walked in hands locked together to the hall filled with men and women even kids who had come to celebrate their union with them.

Maria look at every single person’s eyes in the hall and she could see their fear and detestation for her. She was the useless, unnoticed stone that was forgotten and abandoned years ago but now she has come back to rule over them.

They should shudder in fear, because they have no idea what was coming to them soon, especially the man who was smiling beside her.

Maria receive the glass of red wine she has requested for the occasion and everyone raised a toast to them, she took down the whole thing and a senile smile turned up on her face as she watched them drink, celebrating their misery from now on.

“We are all here to celebrate the coming back of the Red wolf into our midst once again. From now all, the Leaners' will not be seen and used as just weapons or slave to the family but they will be worship wherever they are seen”

“I renounce them from traitors, they will not be haunt down again but welcome everywhere in Dark Shade”

“Also, Maria Leaner the new possessor of the Red wolf has been officially married to me and from this moment onward, she will be seen and addressed as the Luna, the princess of the Pack”

Lucky Stan announced loud with the microphone echoing after his voice and everywhere was silent as they listen to the new development. When he was done, the silent still took over and everyone looked dazed at the news.

“All bow to welcome the new Luna” someone yelled from the crowd and people quickly get out of their shock and lower their heads to accept the new development in the family.

Maria watch everyone’s head down and could not help the amusement, she remembered these same individuals mocking and always spitting on them like they were witches who has committed sins just for being special and powerful.

Now they are going to be pawns for her big revenge plan, she will make them bow lower when the time is right, so low that they would never be able to raise their heads up again.

She held tight to Lucky’s hand and gave it a squeeze while giggling like a teen who was excited on her first date

“This is just the beginning” she thought.

After being forced to bow her head, Wendy Blake walked angrily out of the hall smashing her glass on the ground in anger as she got out. She tried to rip off her dress but it was a bit tough for her and so she gave up while screaming in fury.

What she has been working for had just being stolen from her by a dumb witch girl who had returned from nowhere.

She can’t believe she had just get ousted by Lucky this way after all his promises to always protect her.

When he has stretched out his hand to save her from her captors, she has made up her mind to make sure she be with him and no one else but now just for the sake of stupid world peace, what was meant to be hers has been taken away.

There was no way she is accepting and letting it go, she has done so much just to have him become her Alpha and hers only.

No girl can appear all of a sudden and steal him away from him. It doesn’t matter if they are married now, she can’t separate them later and even kill any woman if it is to claim Lucky Stan as her own.

Not interested in watching the celebration between the two, she walked back to the abode.

Maria keep taking the wine down as few people summon courage and came to drink with them. Everything was going well until a shout came from afar and halt the music playing.

Everyone turned to the source of noise and eyes fell on the woman who was looking haggard and dirty walking towards the couple.

As she get closer, Maria recognize the face and quickly go to hold her from stumbling down, the woman grabbed her staining her dress with her dirty and Luckly move forward to help.

“Aunt Kate?’ she asked and the woman nod.

She pull her into an embrace and Maria got squashed under her embrace. That night, she has managed to escape getting killed by the people and had lived in snakes cave for years making the place her new home.

When she heard news of another Red wolf being found and brought back to become the next Luna, she could not believe and tried finding a way to come see things for herself. However, on her way into the Shade, none of the wolves attacked her like they would have

Katherine was given a new cloth to change to and after a good bath she hadn’t had in years, she joined the party looking new.

“How did you do the ritual? Did your sister pass it to you before her death?’ she asked Maria out of curiosity.

Not able to give her an answer, Maria smiled at her and signal to her to enjoy the party instead of worrying about something as the passage ritual.

At first, she listened to her but after trying to take the wine down her throat, Kate paused and look at Maria again for confirmation.

She stared observantly at her and felt something strange in her unlike the other possessor of the Red wolf, just few seconds ago, she had mind controlled her to drink instead.

“You…?” she said with trembling lips

Maria look at her again swallowing the fake smile she has been shinning for a while now and get serious, of course it was her aunt Katherine, she knew she would find out about it but she just didn’t know she would take a guess so fast.

“What have you done?” she screamed drawing attention.

Maria quickly signal to the two girls who helped her earlier to take her aunt out of the hall, the girls came at her and pull her hands insisting that she leave because she was too drunk.

“No Maria, that’s a powerful Vengeful spirit! You’ve summoned a rare spirit! It will always take something back from you” she yelled in warning as she get dragged off by the girls.

“I know Aunt, that’s why I accept it” she telepathically inform her and close her eyes for a second.

When she opened them back, it shone fire and for a split moment, it took control of her body, mind and soul.
