A heavy sigh went down as Maria open her eyes open to see an unfamiliar space again, she cussed silently fed up with always passing out and appearing in strange places. She glance around the room and one thing caught her eyes which made her jumped out of bed and her legs fasten towards it.
She put her hand forward to touch the art on the wall but it felt like if she does, she might be get stricken down by it.

“How do I end up on the bed?” she wondered and look back at the place she has moved from.
The air felt familiar and rather than cool her body it was burning her up, the familiarity with the environment seem to be hyping her blood and it makes her short of breathe in a second.
She was back to the place she has ran away from for years! How could this be the plan of the old woman for her?
This was the same place where she had watched her sister get beaten and tortured, where her whole family was imprisoned and spatted upon for being traitors.
“It’s the Alpha’s palace” she scream in her head.
She has been brought back to Dark Shade and her limbs failed her even though she was feeling energized a while ago.
If it was the ruthless Alpha who had captured her then she should in prison chained down to her feet but she was left on a comfy bed instead.
Maria breathed out and she took steps towards the door but it opens before she could get to it and she waited for whoever was coming ready to leash out her terror.
“You are awake Princess” the little boy who had just entered beamed at her and drop the tray he was carrying on a table nearby.
He rushed out before Maria could stop him and waited perplexed by how she was addressed by the fellow.
Soon the boy came back in with another man who Maria recognize almost immediately. He was the one she had grabbed his hands last night in the forest.
He smiled at her and walk cautiously towards her, Maria was not sure if he was afraid of her or up to something but she stood her ground confidently.
“Do you remember how you got here?” he asked

She wanted to scoff at him and reply but her throat was still glued and she could only groan inwardly.
“it’s not the horrible Alpha” she thought a big relief and burden falling off her shoulder.
“Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Lucky Stan…”
“...The new Alpha of the Dark shade” he introduced and Maria’s security alertness went high.
Even though he isn’t the old Alpha she knew, he was still bears the name and is the new Alpha. He wanted her for the same thing his descendants had always wanted from her descendants.
Right after she told she was saved from the hot scorching fry pan, she fell into hell fire. If she want her revenge then this man standing in front of her wasn’t the right choice.
Without giving warning, she rush to the table and grab the fork from it then speed run to Lucky targeting his throat. He managed to grabbed the fork with his palms getting hurt a little.
Maria swift him at the wall and throw him thrust him at the table before he could defend, she shifted letting her eyes blaze out fire and before she could shoot it, she was stopped
“I am nothing like him!” he yelled putting his hand up.
“I just want to restore peace again, give your family the identity that you have lost and also protect the pack families” he said and stand up when the blaze was retrieved.
Maria stared at him confused what he meant by giving her family back the identity they had lost, is he talking about being a loyal slave to the Alpha on the throne?
“I want to make amend of what my family has done to your descendants in the years past and also to the Dark Shades”
“I can understand if you do not want to see me and want to kill me at sight but please allow me mend things”

After Maria fell down the cliff four years ago, turns out that Janine’s last attack which had killed many of Alpha Victor’s riders had also affected him.
Being a strong man, he didn’t die on the spot like his riders did but he got burnt real bad and soon, day after day, his body started to rot with his power to heal having no power over it.
He had gone rampage on the people and also the remnant of the Leaner whom he had set a price on their heads and kill them to satisfy his lustful desire.
There was rumor that he had killed everyone in his palace in order to satisfy his rage but unfortunately, all that didn’t heal him and he started to go crazy living in torment every days of his life until he died.
For a long time, no one dared show up to become the next Alpha, their only source of power which was the Red wolf has been eradicated and the fear that the death Alpha or the innocent people he has killed all these years of being a tyrant Alpha might appear to haunt whoever take the throne makes the position vacant for years
However, when everyone had lost hope, Lucky Stan, a descendant who lived back in the city among humans appeared all of a sudden and become a hero,saving the Dark Shade from vanishing completely.
He showed great power by fighting off the packs who had seized the opportunity of the absent of leader to haunt and exhaust from them. He rescued those that had being taken captive and restore growth back to the pack earning every one’s trust and love.
With that, he was accepted as the new Alpha of the Dark shade who is beloved by every families in the pack.
But soon after, he started to seek for any remnant of the Red wolf in order to restore complete protection back to the family in order to restore their forgotten glory even though all dread that decision of his

"For you and I to put the bad incidents that happened years ago behind us and focus on the new destiny we will create" he said
Maria clenched her fist listening and lessen it in no time, she can't let her emotions get the best of her at the moment. Right now she need to deceive this man standing in front of her.
"And?"
“Together, we will both restore back the authority and power that the Dark Shades have in the wolverine world” he answered with a smile
“Are you sure is it not for your selfish desire to rule the world?” Maria wrote again
“Then be around to keep me in check” he simply answered and Maria went silent.
“Do I take that as an affirmation? In return for you coming back to save us all, I will restore back the honour of your family and put you in equal power seat”
“I want every remaining Leaner find and saved” she wrote again.
“That will be the first priority, you are going to be the Princess after all” he said smiling again.
Maria finally smile back after a short thought, this was what the old lady was talking about when she said that hand would be the one to assist her in getting her revenge.
Even if he seemed like a good one, she can’t let herself forget what his family had made her go through, the pains, shame and heartache that they have caused every descendants of hers. Although his smile seemed contagious, she promised herself not to let her guard down with him, not when she also have plans to pay him back for all the misery and pain his family had caused her all these past years.
Whether it is the Dark Shade or the Silver Crest, she will not relent neither stop at nothing to rip the heads off their throats.
She stretch out her hands and shook hands with Lucky Stan for the new alliance and force out a warm smile to mark the new beginning for her.
“I Maria Leaner accept you Lucky Stan as my new Alpha and Mate”
“I Lucky Stan accept you Maria Leaner as my Luna”
They both swore and look up to the bright red moon that shines upon them as they begin the new relationship.
