Found A Mate

The loud whooshing of the water attract the warrior standing guard at the border, he quickly let out his claws and walk to check on what it is.

A bright light shine from the small river and it blinded the guard's eyes causing him to move back in defense.

Afraid, the guard rush back to inform the others about what has just happened and soon return with three other warriors including the Alpha.

Cleaven walk to the river with three of his warriors behind him cautiously, there is no light anymore but a young girl laying at the edge of the river looking dead.

The small water in the river has stained with her blood and so Cleaven assume she is dead, He glances up at the cliff a distance away and wonders if she fell from it.

If she really fell down from the cliff, she wouldn’t be survive it with all the rocks on the way and she look like a weakling, probably hasn’t shifted yet.

Cleaven move close to see her face and examine her to see if she is really died. He check her pulse and to his utter surprise the girl is still breathing although faintly, he believed she has a strong will even though she looks so fragile and weak.

"I don't think you should get too close, she could be a spy sent to attack us" Toby, his most trusted Beta, Toby said and move close ready to protect him.

Cleaven examine the girl's body to see if there is any hidden weapon and as he touches her face, her eyes flinches open.

He dart his brown eyes up to look at her and his brows raised in a frown at the color of her eyes, they are deep red like a fury wolf and he could feel the pain as he stares deep into them.

Cleaven feel a sudden rush of strong power and tilt his head uncomfortably to the sides, his wolf Prince, seem to be raging inside like a rush of wave coming to wipe out anything in it way.

It marvels Cleaven because he has never lost control of his wolf ever since it first shift. They have both been in accordance and unity, he let it out whenever he wants to and never has it asked to be let out otherwise.

But right now, his bones are cracking and it feels like it will burst out of his body exploding him.

Toby who sees him in pain squat down beside him putting hand on his shoulder to know what is wrong.

Cleaven ignore him and focus on getting his wolf under control, he wondered why it acting up right now. In a fist, his claws are forced out and before he could stop it, he pinches them into the little girl's skin.

Another stronger rush of power overcome Cleaven, taking control of his mind and he shifted in a twinkle of an eye, Toby was push off and he stay back in fear.

Cleaven struggle hard to gain control feeling too much pain at the attempt not to lose his sanity, his red eyes shine and fall on the little girl lying in front of him.

The desire to pull her close and embrace her into it arms till they become one body and soul makes him forget his pain for a moment.

He touches the back of her head and realizes she is bleeding from there, her back bones seem to be broken too and he could feel all her pain right away, Prince feel a strong rush of her fear and pain again and it growl in rage at whosoever had hurt it mate.

Prince carried it mate into his arms and turn around to the warriors looking quite afraid of their Alpha. Toby takes a wild guess at what might have just transpired now.

He direct the other two to follow him and they walk quietly behind Prince whose only aim is to save it mate at all cost.

Maria struggle to open her eyes but it is all dark just like nothingness, it seem to her that she is dead but her body is moving and her eyes open but could see nothing, no darkness but just blank.

Not knowing what to do, she cry out for her sister but her lips won't open up no matter how hard she try to force it.

Terrified now, she try to move her body and stand up but it seem her body isn't there with her, Maria pray silently for the torment to stop and her prayer is answered when a dim light shine right out of her eyes.

She was able to see now but only her face floating in the air with no body, she try to talk again and it feel difficult.

"You are the next Descendant to take on the responsibility"

“I don't want to be!” she yelled at whoever had just said that but didn’t feel her lips moving when she did.

"You cannot escape from this fate, it is your destiny and responsibility and you must fulfill it.”

I don't want that horrible power! Maria tried screaming at herself but her lips won't open.

"If you refuse, you will live a miserable life until you accept your fate and embrace it"

"You must accept the Ancient wolf and fulfill your destiny"

The voice echoes again and the image of her face disappear then the Red wolf appear in the light. It is a little different from her sister's because of the white eyes and blue mark on it fur.

Maria try to close her eyes not ready to yield but her hands felt far away and she could not resist as it disappear into her.

Just as it disappears, she feels life coming into her again and her whole body appearing back like it should be.

Maria breathes heavily and try to get up but something hold her down and she finally open her eyes with a scream.

Cleaven manage to change back to his human self and stare at the girl he has just place on the bed he's back in his room in the main house. He sees the mark his wolf has left on her shoulder and curse at himself for letting this happen.

"She needs urgent treatment" Toby told him, knowing that this stranger is his Alpha's mate, he wants to do everything to save her life.

"Get the doctor in here and do it discreetly, no one should find out about tonight or her" he instructed and Toby quickly went out to carry out his orders.

Cleaven try to see if she is still breathing but the fear of what happened earlier not to repeat itself again, he did not touch her.

He has never seen Prince go out of control for the past eight years they've been together. The appearance of this mate of his was more of a bad news than good to him.

Apart from the fact he can't control his wolf, he worries about how Lena will take the news of him marking another girl.

Cleaven keep staring at the girl feeling a strong bound between them which make it hard for him to look away from her, worst of all, his s****l hormones seem to be kicking in to all of this.

He tries not to lose control again and force himself to look away from her. A light flashes out of her eyes and Cleaven block his sight with an elbow to avoid getting blinded by the strong light, it lasted for a moment before it went back in and an earsplitting scream follow after.

Cleaven close his ears at the sound afraid he might bleed out of his ears because of how earsplitting the scream was. He looks back at her and there are no red eyes anymore.

She has quite beautiful hazel eyes which look innocently and fearful at him, her auburn hair fall down effortlessly to her waist as she sits up looking fretfully at him.

Maria look at the man in front of him and almost get drown into his good physique but stop herself in time and jump out of the bed.

He must be one of the Alpha's riders who have been sent to watch over her, although he looks better than any rider she has ever seen.

She make a fist and get ready to fight for her escape not minding that the fact that he is able to squash her with his one palm.

He move at her and she open her mouth to yell at him not to come closer but her throat feel tight unable to open up.

Afraid that she cannot open her mouth to speak, her fists weaken and her courage drains down with the realization that she might have lost her voice.

Maria quickly rushes to a far corner of the room and squat down there ready for what else fate has for her, maybe rape

Cleaven want to calm her down and explain who he is but she had jump off the bed and ready fists at him. He almost let out a scoff at the stupid act, many usually cower at the sight of him and bow their heads but she dared to raise her fists at him, at that moment, he can’t help but find her act cute.

Wanting to tease her, he takes a step forward but to his surprise she didn’t throw the punch at him but run to hide beside the bed like a drenched chicken.

Seeing that, he lost the intention to tease her and move closer careful not to agitate her further trying to look as harmless as he can.

"I won't hurt you" he told her but she did not bulge at all.

"I am the one who saved you, my name is Cleaven and you are in a safe place"

She raises her head after listening to him and stares at him again with doubtful eyes but he gives her a tiny smile to assure her that he won't bite. At first, she stares at him examining and stretch her hand up for a grab

Cleaven smile relieved to see she is relaxed and put his palm forward to help her up but he regrets it immediately their skin touched.

Like an erupted volcano, Prince was awaked and come dangerously at her desiring to rip her clothes off in that instant and claim her completely.

He watch her face turn in a big terror and she falls back in fright, the feeling to protect her and also claim her conflicted with each other and Cleaven feel like he's losing his mind fighting Prince.

He slam his palm against the wall behind her head causing a long crack and stare hard at her, before he could stop himself, he slam his lips on her small round fragile looking round lips for a sizzling kiss that shook his whole body.
