Derek It took me awhile to untangle all of my thoughts. Too long. Because once I thought it through, in every way I possibly could, I came to the same conclusion. I still wanted her. Sure, there were many practical reasons why we should move forward with the original plan. Both of our packs were expecting it due to the farce of an arrangement our parents had used to hide the truth of the prophecy. Then there was the prophecy itself, claiming that the eldest daughter of Howling Rivers would be my mate. The most important part of that was the fact that we would finally end the war between the packs, and could know peace in our lifetime. But to me, none of that was the most important.
