Carlotta arched her eyebrows imperiously. "And just what do you think you're doing up on this floor? I thought you finally had some sense, removing yourself from the Luna suite. It turns out I was mistaken."
"What are you doing with Luna paperwork?" I repeated, refusing to back down. Not this time. Our situations were different now. I may not be the Luna, but neither was she.
"That's none of your business," Carlotta said briskly, shooing the omega away. "Wait," I called out after him.
"You'll keep walking if you know what's good for you," Carlotta said coldly. The omega gave me a frightened look and scampered off down the hall.
"What were you doing with those?" I demanded. "You're not the Luna anymore. Derek removed you from the position."
"That's what you think," she muttere
