Aeliana I was done trying to be friends with August. I mean, what kind of person yells at someone for giving a gift? I was just trying to do something nice for Violet, and he practically ripped my head off. Served me right, I guess, for meddling in other people's business. "You miscalculated," Luna Carlotta said snidely, bringing me back to the present. "We don't have enough servants for that." I looked blearily down at the parchment I was working on. Great. My mind was so far off task that I had started filling out the servant's schedule as I had imagined it earlier, giving them slightly shorter shifts and more time off and forgoing extra help at the packhouse.
