Ten years ago August "August?" I looked up from my desk. "Huh?" The other kids giggled. "Do you know the answer?" Ms. Francis asked, arching one of her bushy eyebrows at me. I wondered yet again if she knew that her students nicknamed her 'The Caterpillar.' "Uhh, what was the question?" I asked, blushing furiously. The class giggled again. She'd caught me daydreaming again, and she knew it. "I asked you if you knew what five hundred twenty-eight divided by twenty-four was," she said impatiently.
