I woke up to the sound of the digital voice asking me to open the door, saying someone was waiting outside.
My eyes opened, slowly absorbing the faint light that filtered through the sheer curtains.
I got out of bed and went to the door. The moment I opened it, a woman pushed her way through, followed by a maid.
“You must be Vivica. The Alpha’s…mate?” The woman stated, a clear trail of disgust glinting on her face.
