Arella walked into the room just when Vivica was stepping out. Her gaze followed her till she was out of sight.
“You changed her closet? And even got her a phone?” Arella walked hurriedly to the sofa. “I can’t believe you are letting her fool you with that fake naivety of hers.”
“You seem to forget she is my mate.”
“Oh, spare me with that mate bullshit. You’ve been on this mate thing like you are the first man to find one.”
“I might not be the first, but I’m allowed to be happy about it, aren’t I?”
“I’m just looking out for you, cousin. I don't want anyone taking advantage of your kindness. The world thinks you are some tough, ruthless guy, but I know how sweet and easily carried away you can be.”
