Unknown Person Point of View
The moon was at its high point in the sky, casting a bright glow upon the darken street. There were no streetlights in this part of town but lucky for me i didn't really need the light. It was a mere Human tendency, I still found comfort in. I have come to this spot for the past 5 nights, hidden in these tree limbs, away from any Human eyes like a predator watching its prey. To watch her to be exact. Tonight, was no different. Just like clockwork her shadow showed itself first. She was dancing gracefully among the Fireflies with her heels in her hands, the moon light glowing on her smooth skin. She looked so at home among the trees. She must be coming home from The Homecoming dance, i have seen the orange and black posters all over town that read "Go Bulldogs!"
She wore a teal mermaid dress with a low v cut that ended just below her breast line which made them look even more delicious and perky. The amethyst stone necklace stopped right where her heart was. Her long sliver curls were a mess with a diamond headband accenting the sparkles in her dress that caught the moon light. My non beating heart just skipped a beat. She called to my beast who was slithering against my skin in wanting.
It started to sprinkle, and she let out a loud beautiful laughter and just danced faster with her hands turned up to the sky. That Laughter had me nearly jumping out the tree after her. Just needing proof that she was real.
"Easy Brother, we must not make our self-known yet." startled that I did not sense another person and seething that he found me, I turned to my dear beloved Twin Brother and Hissed
"What are you doing here?"
"A little witchy told me what you have been up to" He paused, and I silently cursed that the witch he speaks of couldn't keep her loudmouth shut like I told her to. He looked down at my Prey while a slow smirk formed on his face. His gaze followed her up and down " My oh my she is delicious; I now understand what has kept you. I have missed our games deeply my brother. "
His voice held some sincerity and sadness there that i pushed away from my thoughts. I kept my eyes on his face as he watched her dance in the rain that has started to come down harder. I could have sworn I saw pain flash over his face, but it was gone as quickly as it came. I squinted my eyes at him trying to figure out what he was up to. Knowing him, it was never good.
"Get it out your head" I sighed
"Twin institutions I see, is she really the one?" he questioned like he didn't get the same message I did. Mother dearest was never wrong about them and he knows that.

Katherine's POV
I woke with a start as my Alarm clock sounded, blaring that annoying ring in my ears. I reach desperately to hit the button that will turn it off. After the 3rd time of missing it I finally smacked it onto the floor. "Okay okay I am up." I spat as I reached down to finally turn this damn thing off.
I stayed up way too late last night after the dance, I lost track of time in the woods in my secret place I go to hide until the so-called parents are asleep. Coming home is always a dread. With my 18th birthday nearing, I get reminded daily that the check that I am is about to run dry. As I fully got out of bed groaning I walked towards my window to let the morning light in, the uneasy feeling that i was being watched again crept upon my skin causing my hair on the back of my neck stick up just like last night. I looked out my window down to the back yard, but nothing was there, glancing left and right, still nothing. I brought my eyes up to the empty house next door. As my eyes landed on the window straight across from mine, I completely froze. I was staring in the most extreme dark green eyes that I have ever seen; They seemed ancient. I think my eyes were playing tricks on me cause instead of round pupils, his were slits almost snake like. He must be wearing contacts. The longer I gazed into them, they pulled me in deeper causing my breath to freeze in my throat. I don’t know how long we stood there caught into each other. He broke the intense stair as his eyes travel down my body causing goosebumps to appear wherever his eyes touched, and a heat begin to pool between my legs. On his golden tan skin Tattoos were covering his bare chest and on both arms. I couldn't make them out but could see even this far they were very well done and detailed. My eyes went to his full lips that were deep red with a gold ring in the left side then to his raven black hair it had a glossy shine, it was spiked every which way with bedhead. If gods exist, this man was pure sin in an exotic bottle. He raised his eyebrows at me with a knowing look. like he knew exactly what his gaze influenced my body. I noticed his eyebrows had a small silver ring in each them that caught the sun light. Finally, that little voice inside my head caused me to snap out of it my daze reminding me that I am standing in my black Lacey boy shorts and a matching tube bra. I shirked and pulled my curtains shut. But the final look on his face before it closed burned into my mind, his eyes held such a deep pure amusement in them.
"Katherine You better be ready! I will not be late because of you. If you're not down here in 5 minutes you will be walking to school" My "Mother" Screamed up the stairs at me.
"Coming" I hollered down trying to hide the disgust in my voice that comes out anytime i hear her speak. That women may have birthed me, but my life has been nothing but hell because of her. Only 14 more days, 2 weeks left before I can leave this place. I rushed to my closet to grab some clothes to throw on. Today I am settling with a pair of black high waist leggings, my Bob Marley tied up T-shirt dress, and silver boots. Throwing my outfit on, I rush to the bathroom to apply my makeup. Thankful I took a shower when I got home last night to wash out the rest of hair products and sweat that clung to my skin that the rain didn't get. Going simple with some foundation, eyeliner and my pink sugar cookie lipstick. Grabbing my book bag and phone, looking at the time I had 2 minutes to spare. I speed down the stairs to find the kitchen empty. I walked into the living room and out the window i saw my mother's car backing out the driveway. Seriously! why do I ever believe her!
Sighing I turn towards the kitchen, since I am going to have to walk might as well grab me something to eat. The school is about 5 miles from my house. As I cook some oatmeal, my mind wonders to the mystery guy in the window next door. That house has been emptied for over 7 years now ever since the Mass Murder of an entire family. A cold shiver runs down my spine, as I remember that night. I push back the unwanted memories. Who was stupid enough to buy that house? I never saw a for sale sign in the yard to even see it was on the market. Once my oatmeal was done, I mixed in some brown sugar and cinnamon, grabbed a water bottle and threw my dishes in the sink. Looking at the clock it was 7:15am, if I didn't get going, I will be late for 1st period. Dreading this walk I was grateful for the fall crisp air to kiss my cheeks as I walked out the door.
