Anubis Pov
I could already feel the call towards her, like a light in the darkness. Her smell of the fresh forest morning air and lemon grass was enticing me; it was hard not to succumb to the temptation. She’s not even mature yet. I felt my fangs grow at the thought of her skin under my mouth and her sweet taste on my tongue.
I know I had little time before the others were notified. I watched as she flinches at the over animated principle told her to help me get set up. My power shivered as her eyes met mine and my demon took over in a lustful stare.
“She’s beyond beautiful; not like the others before her” he hissed in my head
“That she is, remember the plan” I reminded him
“Forget it, she has awoken me. Make a new one” I sighed at his matter of a fact tone. He had always been one for little to no words. I knew the moment she awoken him from his sleep he was going to be a pain in my ass and make things harder. He went to the back of my mind. Ending the conversation but left me with a thirst even though I just fed. I didn’t trust my self to be hungry near Katherine. Especially with my other half awake, it’s been a long time since he has fed. The reaction she was having on me was a new feeling altogether. In the 600 years I have been alive not even one candidate has awoken my demon the way she has. I had to remind myself she was not truly mine. Yet at least.
