“Boss wait!” Baz yelled as Cooper moved swiftly down the corridor towards the elevator. As the lift doors opened Cooper halted.
Todd stood before him, looking shaken. Todd’s eyes came up to Cooper’s face and Cooper could see Todd was pale.
Baz came up behind Cooper and saw Todd’s anguished expression.
“The police just rang…there was an accident…”
Cooper’s body tensed as he felt a wave of chill run down his spine. “Accident?”
