Tasuki cursed the blond vampire for abandoning him as he fought off the rest of the creatures that stood in his way. Finally growling in frustration, he’d created a barrier, blocking off any other attacks keeping him from his destination. He took a step back when three of the bloodsuckers flew up against the barrier and disintegrated on impact, splashing wetly to the ground.
Whirling around, Tasuki ran toward the entrance Amni had disappeared into.
