The vampire lord was shocked at the strength behind her anger but refused to let her strike him again. When she started to throw the next punch, he caught it and squeezed her wrist tightly.
“You are fighting the wrong vampire,” He growled forcefully.
“I left you for dead in that cavern,” Kyoko shouted. “You killed Tasuki and nearly killed Amni. Why shouldn’t I fight you?” She emphasized this point by trying to hit him with her other fist.
