Seeing an air conditioning unit only a couple of steps away as opposed to how close he was standing to her, she went over and sat down hoping the distance from him would help her think more clearly.
“Fine… we can talk, but it won’t change anything.” She stared down at the tiny gravel spread across the roof, still feeling a little angry with herself.
