CHAPTER THIRTY SIX
~DAPHNE~
I woke from my sleep with a sharp migraine. I sat up on my bed, holding my head in pain. Why does it hurt so much? I was about to get out of bed when my eyes landed on something. It was a tray full of fruits and other items.
“Huh? How did this get here?” My eyes darted around in confusion. I picked up the tray and sat back on my bed. It had everything I needed to help with my hangover.
My eyes landed on the note on the tray. I picked it up and read through it.
“Hey, cupcake. I know you’ll probably wake up with a migraine. I got a little tray to help you out so make sure you take the pills to help with the headache and eat the fruits to hydrate your system. Please take care of yourself. From the man you want to kiss so badly, Laken,”
I suddenly felt emotion
